Level II Technician
A Synergy Technician represents the face of our company to our clients. A pleasant manner and ability to work with clients at all levels of management and skill is a must.
Requirement of the position - YOU MUST LIVE IN FAIRFIELD OR NEW HAVEN COUNTY, CT and drive your own vehicle, holding a clean license.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite and remote service to external and internal clients including computer maintenance and software installation (desktop/server)
- Troubleshoot hardware/software/connectivity issues
- Log all calls in assigned Helpdesk and track activities against open calls
Skills:
- Minimum current MCP certified (with a current roadmap towards MCSA/MCSE)
- At least 2 years field experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Motivated team player
- Able to demonstrate competence in desktop/end-user support
- Solid working knowledge of all major Microsoft desktop products, including/but not limited to Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Office 2003/2007
- Understanding of networking and network environments
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Working knowledge of Mac OSX and Apple support a plus
